Autumn Meeting: Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry

De Society for History of Alchemy and Chemistry organiseert in samenwerking met het Allard Pierson, de erfgoedcollecties van de Universiteit van Amsterdam en de Centre for the History of Hermetic Philosphy and Related Currents (HHP) houdt hun jaarlijkse Autumn Meeting bij het Allard Pierson.

De nadruk ligt op het Rijksdeel van de Biblioteca Philosophica Hermetica dat sinds 2020 wordt bewaard bij het Allard Pierson. Het Rijksdeel van de Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica (BPH) is een unieke verzameling van 4.400 manuscripten en gedrukte werken over de hermetische traditie, verzameld door Joost Ritman. De BPH bevat vele, vaak zeldzame en unieke werken over onder meer Rozenkruisers, alchemie, mystiek, gnosis, soefisme, kabbala, antroposofie, vrijmetselaars en de Heilige Graal.
