“I became a Friend of the Allard Pierson because I enjoy finding inspiration in the wonderful collections and think it is very important that the material is cared for properly and continues to expand so that this cultural heritage remains accessible to everybody in the future”

Friends of the Allard Pierson

Friends of the Allard Pierson is the result of a merger between the Friends of the Allard Pierson Museum and the Friends of the Special Collections. The two organisations have been working closely for some time. Both of them have a rich history and are crucial to the support for, among other things, acquisitions at the Allard Pierson. Following the example of the Allard Pierson Museum and the Special Collections, they recently decided to continue as one organisation by 1 January 2021 at the latest: Friends of the Allard Pierson.

Friends who are specifically interested in one of the earlier circles of friends may indicate that when registering. These were the circles that supported archaeology, special collections and the theatre and music collections.
