Operational work

Owing to operational work, some rooms of the permanent presentation will remain closed until after 12 July.

From time to time, an old building like the magnificent structure that houses the Allard Pierson requires thorough maintenance work. We will be carrying out such work in a number of rooms on the second floor from 30 May to 19 July 2022. As a result, that the Greeks will be temporarily closed. The Collectors Cabinet will also remain closed from 22 June to 22 July 2022. All other sections of the exhibition From the Nile to the Amstel remain open to visitors. We apologize for the inconvenience.
